     Human-face Wine Vessel was a drinking vessel in Late Shang Dynasty (1200BC-1100BC).It was unearthed from Yinxu, Anyang city of Henan Province and Collection of Freer Gallery of Art, USA. The big-mouthed, broad-bellied and round-footed vessel has a raised human face with two dragon horns. There are holes in the ears. The body is short with a bore of 12cm and the belly is bulging with 20.8cm in width. There are 3 holes around the base into which strings may be threaded to carry it .Its decorative design is unique in style and exquisite.
